Brown Bolshevism is the political ideology of
Moises ‘Muerte’ Tepōztli. Tepōztli is widely known as the founder of Brown Bolshevism. A revolutionary ideology that synthesizes Marxist-Leninist principles with
anti-colonial and Chicano/Indigenous liberation struggles.
It focuses on national liberation,
class struggle, cultural revitalization, and solidarity with oppressed peoples worldwide. Rooted in the idea that Chicanos and other oppressed communities must overthrow imperialism, colonization, and capitalist exploitation to achieve
socialism, Brown Bolshevism advocates for the unity of the working class, revolutionary practice, and international solidarity, while recognizing the unique cultural and historical contributions of Chicanos and Indigenous peoples. It’s a path toward justice for communities directly impacted by imperialism and colonialism, demanding both social and economic transformation with the overthrow of
capitalism and the empire.
