Linging

A term used in conjunction with words of similar meaning ie wagging, skipping or ditching.

Often used condescendingly when one is too lazy to attend say morning PT, class or preform as per their job specifications.

Often describing someone who is too lazy to go to morning PT and would rather sleep, risking their career.

John: oi, did ya hear that Ed is linging this mornings PT?

Eric: Oh yea he's such a linger ey. I hate lingers, never putting in the work!
