Santa Barbara

Sometimes used by eastern europeans as a description "soap opera" or "drama" type of action be it in media or in real life.
The expression comes from the name of a really long soap opera TV series of the same name that became popular during the late 90s, early 00s among the post-soviet soap opera enjoyers, usually women of mid or old age.

Conan the Barbarian

The hero of a series of short stories, novellas and one novel by pulp fiction author Robert E. Howard (1906-1936). Conan is a wandering swordsman whose travels take him into improbable adventures with scheming wizards and lusty wenches. The stories take place on Earth, in pre-Atlantean times.
