1. A sporting event being broadcast exclusively on a streaming platform, and not on cable or satellite TV. Popularized in the U.S. following the 2024 AFC Wild Card matchup of Dolphins at Chiefs, the first such game during the NFL postseason.

I’d watch the football game if it was on CBS, but of course it’s a Peacock game.
