Post rock is a genre of rock music coined by British music Simon Reynold as "using rock instrumentation for non-rock purposes, using guitars as facilitators of timbres and textures rather than riffs and powerchords." Post Rock will often times be built like classical music with different movements and emphasis on musical composition and dynamic movements. Common instruments used by post rock bands are guitars and basses as well as drums, auxillary percussion, string instruments, pianos, and even bagpipes and the occasional tape loop run through the record.
"I saw this band called Godspeed you! Black Emperor last night"

Get the post rockmug. Small West Australian town named after.. two big rocks. It is mainly populated by crayfishermen, hippies and alcholics/drug addicts. Most families are inter-related. It is quite picturesque, however it smells like seaweed and the isolation/inbreeding makes people crazy.

Get the Two Rocksmug. A genre of rock music that is about or describes any and all acts of murder, homicide or killing. Which includes music about serial killers from the first person point of view or people who are murders. In order for a band to be called a murder rock band at least 75 percent of their materiel they perform, write, record and or release has to be about murder or the act of murdering in the lyrical content. It has a dark, edgy, creepy, overall disturbing feel when one listens to it.
