It mocks democrats for insisting that leftists should vote for Joe Biden due to being a "lesser of two evils" seemingly oblivious to the fact that it doesn't matter which tie the president wears, they're still supporting genocide and work in the interest of the bourgeoise. An uptick in the usage of this term has increased due to the increased polarity between actual leftists and Democrats; the uptick being caused by the acceleration of the Palestinian genocide at the hands of Israel. The lesser of two evils notion or "vote blue no matter who" is a prominent example of democrats habitually punching left (due to the fact that democrats are right wing capitalist liberals).
