You don't pay my sub

An argument people in MMORPGs often use to combat critisism (even if intended as kind advice) from other players. While usually associated with Final Fantasy 14 players, it can be seen, albiet less often, with other MMOs due it being able to be used as a general term.

Person 1: Try moving out of the AOE next time. Don't worry about interrupting your casting!
Person 2: Excuse me? You don't pay my sub!
Person 3: *Sarcastic tone* I can give you a subway gift card! *Rimshot*

When a content creator begs/tricks people for likes or subs.

"Every like/sub I get I will Blank" or "Every like/sub I get I will Blank to Blank that is called Like/Sub baiting

When somebody mentions a certain persons name with the "@" sign in front of it. Majority of the time, subs are posted on social media.

Sub-Urban rap

Rap music created by posers pretending to be gangster. Usually white and growing up in good homes in the suburbs with no real problems.

Ex.1 Did you hear the new Sub-Urban rap song by G easy.
Ex.2 Drake likes to pretend to be real, but he really is only a Sub-Urban rapper from Canada.

Sub

Short for "Subscriber". Usually used in reference to a person's subscriber count on either Youtube or Twitch.

That Twitch streamer got a few more subs today due to how good it was.
