You never heard of the fashion general? They are the people who tell you what to wear, how to wear it, when to wear it.

As introduced during BTS' 2021 United Nations Speech, COVID-19 has made the young generation feel like they're the 'lost generation,' a term originally coined by Gertrude Stein. From BTS' speech, "It was a time for us to mourn, for the things that COVID-19 took away from us, a time to discover how precious each and every moment we had taken for granted was."
BTS then propose the term 'welcome generation' to be more fitting to describe today's youth, a generation that embraces change and a generation that's characterized by extreme perseverance. "We thought the world stopped but it continues to move forward, I believe that every choice that we make is the beginning of change, not the end. I hope that in this new world we can say to each other: 'Welcome'."
The idea can also be connected to the South Korean N-po generation neologism. It describes the generations who gave up on n number of things, including relationships, marriage and children due to socioeconomic pressures. More modern n-po generations are said to be giving up even more things like hope, dreams and life. BTS has referenced it in songs like Dope and Baepsae/Silver Spoon.

"Instead of COVID's 'lost generation', a more appropriate name would be the 'welcome generation' because instead of fearing change, this generation says "welcome" and keeps forging ahead" - BTS at the United Nations

A topic on the mobile app quizup. It was a formerly thriving society of competent individuals in the years between 2015-2017, which quickly turned into a desolate landscape after someone dropped a large nuke on the entire topic in 2018. When this happened several of the former inhabitants left and the ones that stayed mutated to fit the radiated environment. The post nuke era of the topic now consists of mostly Libtards, 14 year old pseudo intellectuals, weeaboos that have only watched My Hero academia and Death Note, and some surviving members of "the good ol' days" as they word it. All of them write like a dyslexic person playing Googly Eyes by Goliath and post terrible memes they found on Ifunny.
Person 1: Hey, have you ever been on General Nonsense?
Person 2: Why would I ever want to go on that glorified Tumblr?

When you are generalized for the town you live in and not for your actual circumstances. Usually very annoying for people who get generalized this way. A lower middle class person may be just able to afford a small apartment or house in a rather affluent area and then they get generalized as rich. Or a rich kid may live in a decent neighborhood of what is considered a bad area. These rich kids usually use this to make themselves seem hard or ghetto while the kids with the opposite problem are tired of the generalizations.
Wealthy kids who happen to live in okay areas of Mount Vernon, parts of the Bronx, Queens or Brooklyn are seen as hood but a kid who lives in a one bedroom apartment with his whole family who just happens to live in some wealthier town in Westchester of Long Island is considered soft. town generalization sucks
