I used word hacking in order to get Google to give up some data I needed to complete a mission in my game, HackNet.

Get the word hackingmug. When something is ridiculously unfair &/or unsportsmanlike or heavily unequal, has been manipulated, had loopholes exploited or rules skirted/flagrantly broken. Does not apply solely to games.

Short for "hackneyed." Something that used to be cool, but has now become so mainstream/overrated that it's no longer cool.

Get the Hackmug. cap hacking is a phrase first used by gamers of the tf2 community during the bot crisis. When people would reset the server on certain casual maps that have been running a long time people often referred to this as cap hacking. As it would reset the ban list of the server after the round had ended and allow all bots/cheaters who have been vote kicked / banned during the duration of the server to join again.
