turkey problem

Anecdote popularized (and maybe invented) by the author and former economics professor Nassim Nicholas Taleb that shows the risk in rare but harmful events. - so called "black swans".
It goes as follows:

"A Turkey is fed for 1.000 days by a butcher. Every day confirms to the turkey (and the turkey's economics department, and it's risk management department and it's analytics department ...) that in fact the butcher loves turkeys. Every day brings more confidence to the statement. Until one day the Turkey is ripe for Thanks Giving."

Definition of "Turkey Problem": A series of events or actions enticing an unsuspecting party (Turkey; usually used to symbolize people or corporations) to be misled about the amount of risk / potential harm entailed in a transaction.

Turkey Cheese

Turkey Cheese, the area of loose greasy skin underneath the chin that looks like a gobbling turkey and also some stinky, tecky and sticky Swiss smock cheese. The turkey cheese can be incorporated into many sexual maneuvers where the man whips out his small smock and buries it right into the cheese hole to the point that he's punching the turkey cheese with his smock like a punching bag.

Wow I went home with this chick from the club on Saturday and punched her turkey cheese like Mike Tyson with my mince meat sword.

Turkmenistan

Former Republic of the Soviet Union and is still ran like a communist state with little room for dissent or opposition, and the same party getting elected over and over with 99.999% of votes. It borders Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Afghanistan. The president has a Stalin style cult of personality around him and his picture is everywhere.

Saying something bad about the president in Turkmenistan can lead to you disappearing to never be seen again.
