A community driven irc-like text chat room system on the Omegle anonymous random text and/or video chat website. Despite its name which alludes to internet trolling, it does not promote said activities and strongly discourages them.
Having peaked in 2017/18, the various group chats hosted by dozens of people brought a new twist to using the already super-popular chat website from 2010, with many of the website's users claiming it had "saved a wholesome part of the Omegle community" and "allowed anonymous Strangers to keep in touch in moderated chat rooms".
Trollegle group chats could have been selected from a "mothership" website and each one of them has had years of community history and ambitious development leading to highly unique variations between every chat, with the most notable ones along with their starting years and hosts' usernames being:
