Despite it's rival produced by Sega (Which was also a legendary console), the SNES was boosted above legendary status by classic games such as FF3, Chrono Trigger, the Donkey Kong Trilogy, F-Zero, the Mario titles it carried, and of course, The Legend of Zelda-Link's Awakening.
While it was a hot item in it's time, it has now been spread around the internet for free in the form of emulators, and the games have been converted into roms. This adds to the legacy the SNES left behind of being the most playable and memory-laden projects undertaken by a gaming company.

The shock-trauma that comes from reading a long fic, chapter after chapter, barely pausing to eat let alone pay attention to what chapter you’re on, and then scrolling down to click a "next chapter" button that isn’t there.
That Browser x Seth Everman fanfic was so good! I was on the edge of my seat, waiting to see how Seth would confess his love when suddenly, the fic just stopped! It gave me WiP-lash!
