falcon ridge

(n) a 4-day folk festival in eastern central new york state (some say upstate). it is the best annual hippie gathering with tons of great bands and tens of thousands of people of every type (except neo-cons, conservatives, baby killers, etc.) on the biggest hill in the world. desert heat in day, alpine cold at night, and the coolest(not as in cold) weather this side of the moon. music and parties and love and food and frisbee. expencieve as shit, though. and tents. thousands upon thousands of tents.
