A vertical horizon. The edge of the world is a horizon, but if you're on a planet with a ring, Saturn for example, you can stand in certain areas and see a vertical horizon, which rises from the horizon all the way over you to the opposite horizon.

We were playing Halo and in the distance you can see the ring's verizon spanning across the sky.

Vertical Planking

To vertical plank, to hang from a ledge/bar or any other things able to be gripped with the hand. Using only your hands, hang in a complete vertical position, elevating, as if standing. The higher/more dangerous the plank, the more skilled the plank.

Verizon Pause

An awkward pause that follows a question you know the answer to but don't have the stones to answer truthfully.

Smith: We made a decision to change our pricing model, and what we've done is we've allowed people to share data among a number of devices regardless of how many people are on the plan, it's a device model. And we're charging on the megabytes of data that they use.

Moe: Why?

Smith: People have changed the usage of how they're using their devices. They're moving to using more data, and to ensure the speed and reliability and the access to the network, people are paying for the amount of data that they use.
