Get the all over it mug.The phrase "over 9000," in essence, defines 9000 to be any number considered to be an already excessive limit which one would then expect to be surpassed in one way or another by the circumstances leading to the utterance of the phrase "It's over 9000!" with various degrees of phonetic extension of the /a/ sound in the word thousand.
For example it would be absurd to assume that you have over 9000 mid terms to take. However, it would be perfectly acceptable to set 9000 as a placeholder representing some number that is an acceptable upper limit of exams any excess of which would cause exasperation and very possibly scouter (here meaning pencil or pen) crushing.
