Someone who might not like a DC comics movie, but will feign enthusiasm for it in front of friends due to having special feelings for DC comics, mostly from the past, that they want to share with their friends.
"That new Batman movie was amazing! The Riddler was such a strategic villain!"
"Dude! I don't disagree that Batman is cool, but that movie was bad. I think you're pretending because you're a DC revivalist."
"Yeah!"
"But that She-Hulk show, was so satisfying to watch. I like how they're exploring all the genres in the MCU, even the mundane."
"Dude! No offense, but you're letting your excitement for the MCU's growth cloud your judgement about story-telling. Clearly, you're a MCU Revivalist."
"So we're two revivalists sitting in a bar."
"Trying to defend our favorite superheroes from general scrutiny."
