This is a word that should be used to describe an event where a clever comment on a Tweet gets more likes than the original post. Sadly, this has turned into a phrase people use when they can't win an argument, and in the process of commenting only the words "ratio", they lose the ratio.
Example of a real ratio
OP (Original poster): It's ♡ NOVEMBER♡ let's see how many legends are still listening to {random song}!
Gets 10 likes
Replier: Does anyone still do this?
Gets 100 likes
The replier has just ratioed the OP.
Stupid ratio that rarely works
OP: Earth is a planet (10 likes)
Replier: Ratio!!111!!1! (0 likes)

Or “keeping the ratio” is used by frat guys and college bouncers who want to keep the ratio of men and women at the party at a certain amount
A frat guy manning the door at a party rejects a guy but lets in a girl who wants to enter the party.
“Hey man, we gotta keep the ratio. You ain’t coming in.”

Iam "It's kind of hard to track my H/H Ratio because of the fact that I'm not being acknowledged. And that's a little frustrating. People do come up to me from time to time and insinuate that they have a favorable opinion of me or my work. They're a little more subtle about it (due to the nature of my fame/infamy). I guess that's another thing you were right about. It's kind of neat."
Hym "Yes, yes. That's all well and good but people are taking our thing and using it for themselves."
Iam "Yeah... I just kind of want to see the effect of what I've done. It's hard to tell."

A yeehaw cat ratio, is a ratio sent to NafjanBoy by BIG Games. It has affected Nafjan tremendously in multiple ways, including his mental health.
