Flip-badge date

"Flip-badge" is a workplace term used sometimes in mergers or when there is a substantial change in management. It is the date on which an employee ceases working for one entity and begins to work for a new entity.
If you need anything from the boss, you better ask quickly before he's gone; the flip-badge date is only a week from today.

Your company under-produced for the last two years, and it has finally been sold to a competitor. The flip-badge date is January 1. I hope you have sent off your resume.

flip dub

A lip dub where the lyrics to a popular song have been changed, or flipped, and recorded by the makers of the video. Like in a lip dub, the members of a community are viewed lip syncing to a song while the camera travels through. In a flip dub, they are lip syncing to words sung by their own community members. This term was coined by Tobey Sanford in the creation of the world's first flip dub at Naperville North High School, May 21, 2012.
In changing the lyrics to popular songs, the flip dub better communicated the spirit of the community than if it had just been a lip dub.
