Get the therianmug. A fox therian is a therian (shortened from the word therianthrope) that has one or more theriotypes (polytherian) of a fox and other animals, or just different types of foxes in general (pluritherian).

A therian is a person who emotionally, psychologically, and/or spiritually connects to one or more animals, but knows that they are a human being physically. Most therians are NOT zoophiles and a lot of therians are not furries so don’t even start complaining about that, please. Therians may also do quads (quadrobics) but they don’t have too, and may experience shifts but not always.

Luna is an Arctic fox therian! She loves to do quadrobics and lay in the snow. She only experiences shifts occasionally.
Nox is a swift fox therian, but doesn’t do quadrobics. However, she does in fact experience shifts quite often.
Briar is a red fox therian that never experienced shifts.
Sam is a fox pluritherian while Bea is a polytherian with one of her theriotypes being a fox.

Get the fox therianmug. A therian is someone who identifies as an animal on a non-physical level. Spiritually, psychologically, and emotionally, they relate to the essence and behaviors of this animal, even though they don't have the physiology to match. Some therians may have mental, phantom, sensory, emotional, dream or cameo shifts. (Being a therian is not a choice, it is something that you are born with or develops overtime.)

Get the Therianmug. Furrie is a person who owns an anthrophomorphic (meaning: with human characteristics) animal character. Furries do not identify as animals whatsoever.
Therians on the other hand, believe that a part of their soul reasonates with an animal (most commonly wolf, fox, cat, dog,..) and therefore identify as that animal.
