Nickname referring specifically to the southwestern part of The Bronx and perpetuated by artists, which reflects the area as a burgeoning hotspot for large and affordable spaces, warehouses, etc. in which to create artwork.

Inspired by previous areas of New York City that formerly housed nascent art communities with affordable spaces: SoHo in Manhattan (South of Houston Street) and DUMBO in Brooklyn (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass).

A sorority girl is a female college student belonging to a social sorority. She may or may not live in a sorority house. She will normally be seen wearing Chanel sunglasses, a Northface jacket, and bag representing her sorority's letters. Sorority girls are typically high maintenance and very uppity. Most are white middle and upper middle class girls that are spoiled and extrememly materialistic. These bleach blondes are extremely loud and spend most of their time shopping and partying with frat boys. Often confused to be sluts, sorority girls are most often cock teases. Sorority girls are sometimes extremely protective of their sorority sisters and can only be distracted by a professional wing man.

I went to a party and all of the girls were blonde spoiled suburbanite zombies.

Yeah dude, they were total sorority girls.

SoRo

Abbreviation for South Roanoke. South Roanoke is an affluent area, full of grand old houses and manicured lawns. Crystal Spring Elementary is located in South Roanoke, and the children who go there tend to be preppy. As you work your way into South Roanoke, the houses become larger and the cars nicer- the best area to be is right on the mountain.

Girl 1: "All the girls from SoRo are really popular."
Girl 2: "I know- everyone always pays attention to them."
Girl 1: "Yeah, I wish I lived in SoRo."

A Greek organization which contains male and female members. A mixture of a Fraternity and a Sorority. Each member is called a brother however.
