A word used to describe something that was purchased, presented or obtained for the sole purpose of impressing a crowd/group of peers.

Something can be labeled “schwubby” or a person can be acting “schwubby.”

“Bryce went to the club and paid for a VIP section and 4 bottles. His friends thought it was a bit schwubby, but still had a good time.”
