A slang term for a person who is Republican. It is usually considered an insult because Republicans only care for the well-being of themselves and other rich people.

"See that weinernipple over there? He's a phillie."
"Is that why you brainfreezed him?"
"You know it! I'm a hipcat!"

The term of endearment for Philadelphians' bluntness and perceived rudeness. We're not trying to be mean, it just comes off that way, because we care more about telling it how it is than beating around the bush. This isn't the South, just say what you mean the first time around and move on.
