The name for a person who is in the condition of, addicted to or unable to stop being treated like a doormat.

General term for someone who accepts a lack of respect and continues to think that they can change another human to make them nice.

He does EVERYTHING for her and she still walks all over him. He needs to stop being a Doormatagus and stand up for himself.

doorman discretion

That immense amount of power conferred upon one without commensurate knowledge, experience, or understanding, such that, in effect, the village idiot ends up holding the keys to the U.S. nuclear arsenal, or worse, won't let you into your own office building so you can finish working on that one document that will define the rest of your career and is due tomorrow morning.
