4-Wears black eyeliner, red lipstick, and no foundation
6-Is commonly called Goth or Emo, and hates both
7-can be surrounded by friends and utterly alone all at once
8-Has pessimistic tendencies, but calls herself a "realist"
9-Would buy an antique peace of jewellery as opposed to anything from Hot Topic
10-Refers to her style as 19th Century aristocratic
11-Is self conscience about her looks, and abilities
13-Everyone secretly wants to fuck or be her, but no one will admit it

Morticia Adams combined with Faith the vampire slayer with a dash of Elvira. Shake bake, and you've got yourself a vamp.

A word of the 60's and 70's used for the heavy assault on a person done by the police, usually during a political event or rally.

The vamping at that rally was brutal, they covered all the bases: clubbing, shoving, dragging, gassing, and even buckshot.

Vamp

A guy or girl who is usually dressed in gothic clothing. They are not actually a real vampire and because of that they are called vamps as in 'almost vampire'.

Vamps are known to:

1. Show a large intrest in vampires either mythological, or in movies, comic, etc.

and/or

2. Express vampire qualities (note: Vampire qualities does not always mean sucking blood).

That girl looks dark but sexy, maybe she's a vamp.

For a band to build and/or increase in intensity in tandem with one another during a song. Most commonly used by Christian music directors from Australia.

Worship Director: "This song sounds really weak, lets try to vamp it coming out of the second chorus"
Band: "*Blank Faces*, do you mean build?"

Worship Director: "Isn't that what vamp means?"
