The TommyKay-Gap(TKG) is the increasingly accumulated difference of research power in a HOI4 Game between two parties(Nations, Factions etc.). This difference mostly appears when one of the parties uses the Technocratic-Tommy-Route(TTR), which means they prioritize Research above all else and the other party plays
pragmatically(short term). The TGP dictates that over time the former party will get an increasingly large advantage over the latter. You can calculate your TGP using the equation for Research Power and then
calculating the delta between the two parties for a given t (time passed). Research Power can be
calculated using this equation: RP(t) = t * F + S where t = time, F = Research Focus (0 ≤ F ≤ 1), S = Starting Strength. Then you can calculate the TGP using: ΔRP(t) = t * F_A + S_A - t * F_B + S_B = TGP.
