Scorpion King Syndrome

Scorpion King Syndrome: A storytelling tool used in many big-budget motion pictures.

SKS (pronounced 'sucks') is when an action movie's premise supposedly revolves around a major antagonist, where in fact the villain is actually only mentioned for less than five minutes at the start of the movie, altogether forgotten, and then appears at the very end of the movie.

The villain in question typically has no identity of his/her own, only that of a 'force' to be dealt with by the hero of the movie. Typically this villain is quickly killed to great fanfare, yet little emotional context to the viewer.

"Did you see Transformers? I wish Megatron had been in it and had a real character more than he was. I think he was suffering from Scorpion King Syndrome."

A game, a word, a meaning, a joke, everything and nothing, the Alpha and the Omega. By saying this holy word without others realizing you have said it in conversation, you thus comment this word as a verb and achieve a level of existential brilliance. "Lord Viper Scorpion" was a character from Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" performed by Tom Johnson in several episodes in the 2000 to 2001 seasons. "Lord Viper Scorpion" was the anonymous self proclaimed Internet expert or hacker that appears onscreen with his face pixelated and altered voice.

A "Lord Viper Scorpion" is a person that hides behind a laughable veneer of pretentious, posturing aggressiveness and claims knowledge or power over others but is really ineffectual and is meek in person.

Don't worry about his threats, he's a "Lord Viper Scorpion".

Scorpio Season

It's the season that covers October 23 through November 21. During this time, Scorpios are the most active in all aspects especially anything involving fuckin, hurling insults, and/or violence.
