The feeling of oom is that immense calm & curious appreciative joy feeling. Often felt when seeing the mist rise in the morning, out of a thick forest, or when sitting in a warm room/car, looking out at snow falling, lit by the empty street's lights, or when sitting on the beach at sunset, with your dog laying its head on your thigh.

Watching the snow fall in the empty street at 3am; it had such oom.
Hearing C418 Minecraft music after 10 years filled me with oom.
