Shiitake Mushrooms 

Commonly used to avoid saying the word "shit," the origins come from the children's movie "Spy Kids," where the female lead character, upon noticing the amount of enemies ahead, says the word "shit," but in order not to swear in front of her parents, proceeds to say "talking mushrooms," to create the illusion of saying "shitalking mushrooms." Nowadays, is commonly shortened to shiitake mushrooms, modeled after the Japanese word for mushroom.

Psychedelic Mushrooms 

A class of mushroom which contains Psilocybin, a psychoactive ingredient. There are over 100 species of mushrooms that contain psilocybin. Check your species to see what the correct storage method is. For Cubensis, mushrooms should be stored in an area which is dark and dry for

a long shelf life.

The Magic Mushrooms 

A relatively obscure mid sixties psychedelic rock band, which recorded only one album, featuring "It's A Happening" and "Let the Rain Be Me."

The band joins such others as HP Lovecraft and The Lemon Drops in this area of music.

Also amanita muscaria, a type of hallucinogenic northern mushroom containing high levels of muscimol, which causes euphoria and hallucinations when ingested.

The magic mushrooms I listened to made me happy, but the ones I ate made me happier.

1. A type of mushroom, commonly used in Asian cuisine espec.

2.A silly way to make someone think you're going to say shit, but instead you surprise them by mentioning this type of mushroom instead.

(Emphasis on the shiit part of the word.)
