An individual who is addicted to supporting their family. These individuals differ from workaholics in that they will only work enough to support their family. When the financial need is met the extra work is immediately abandoned.
We always thought Dave was a workaholic until he got a raise and immediately cut back his ours. Now we realize he was just a supportaholic trying to provide for his family.
