Hall Effect

An effect often observed in school hallways. The hall effect is the effect of loud conversations in small spaces. In order to be heard over the chaos, conversations become louder and louder, driving up the overall level of noise. This causes conversations to become louder, eventually preventing conversation at all and transforming language into meaningless babble.

The hall effect caused our eardrums to rupture.

Also known as the birthday blues, this effect is a statistical phenomenon where an individual's likelihood of death appears to increase on or close to their birthday, e.g. due to skydiving in order to celebrate birthday

They say there's a birthday effect, so I’m skipping the skydiving this year; I don’t want to become a statistic.

A series of events that happens when you meet someone that you don’t like/or doesn’t like you.

For example, when you meet a person that you don’t like, they start appearing frequently.
There can be more random effects that happen during this, but this example is usually very frequent.

Why am I getting the Galvez Effect? I saw him/her almost 6 times already!
