Get the animemug. Anime is a type of show that was made in Japan. Some people watch it in English, because, why not? Sometimes watching it too much can make you think some stuff, depending on the anime, like suicide, or killing even. Getting to overly attached to an anime character, that dies in the anime, will probably make people have depression. Usually to get over this sadness people..die, or kill themselves. I would not prefer you, of anyone in your family to watch anime that envolves killing, suicide, or even eating people. There are other types of anime, that aren't so...murderistic. Like sex animes. Discustng right? People watch these...I don't know why actually. It's kinda hard to explain. There are also magic types of animes. For example, Noragami or Fairytail. They are good animes if I say so myself.

Get the animemug. Japanese animation. Shows of the Gods. Often times heavily action- and comedy-based, with humor either dealing with extreme misunderstandings or semi-perversion.
Bleach, Code Geass, and Soul Eater are all great examples of anime. Isshin Kurosaki, Ichigo's dad in Bleach, is hilariously overdramatic, acting the foil to many real parents, and often wondering how attractive the girls Ichigo befriends are.
