An axe box is a confined space or room filled with Axe body spray. This can be accomplished with an axe bomb or naturally occurs any boys high school or college locker room. Box music is a term that refers to what was once known as alternative music back in the 90's. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc. The reason why the term evolved was because in college, students would go outside to smoke, these students would sit around the "call box" used to call up to the dorm room for guests to be let in. These "box people" often listened to this genre of music, thus the term.

Everytime I see Matt, he is listening to that box music on his stereo.

brown-box

An employer's passive method for saying, "Thanks, but no thanks," when an employee gives two-weeks notice. The employee will walk in one morning to a file box on his or her desk. The box will be used by the employee to pack his or belongings before being escorted out of the building.

I gave the firm my two-weeks notice on Wednesday when I found a better job, and had every intention of working the full notice, but by Friday they had decided just to brown-box me.
