Inspiration anxiety paralysis

Inspiration anxiety paralysis (IAP): the phenomenon wherein one has so many ideas as to how to do and/or fix something to make one’s life and/or the lives of other better, safer, happier, and/or wealthier that one becomes unable to process, or enaction, the ideas.

God! Last night, at 3am, I was struck with a sudden case of Inspiration anxiety paralysis. I felt like I could do anything…except start doing it.

Red Hat Anxiety

Feeling or thinking any negative emotions or thoughts from seeing a hat that looks like a MAGA hat.

I got red hat anxiety at the concert when I saw someone wear a red hat, I was relieved to see that it was a Cardinals hat later.

Anxiety

Anxiety isn’t just worrying about a specific thing. Sometimes it’s where you aren’t really thinking about a specific bad thing that will happen, but you just have this overwhelming sense of fear and dread like something will. It’s more about a feeling than thoughts.

Person A: I feel terrified and my heart is racing but I don’t know why.
Person B: That, my friend, is what you call anxiety.

Sleep Anxiety

An anxiety that prevents a human being from sleeping due to fear or worrying about going to sleep, usually caused by Insomnia and bad habits.

I got over my Sleep Anxiety by exercising and practicing good sleep hygiene.

Anxiety hands

The state of a person's hands after picking, peeling, biting or scratching at their hands and cuticles. Usually caused by an anxiety disorder or while feeling anxious, sometimes as a coping mechanism, hence the term "anxiety hands".

Person 1 - "Oh no your finger's bleeding! What happened? Why do you have so many scabs?!?"
Person 2 - "It's okay dude, I've got Anxiety hands."

The fear of being judged of what or how much you put in the refrigerator by someone else

I have refrigerator anxiety with my roommate because I don’t want her to judge me with what I put in the refrigerator.
