A person who lies about his or her age on a dating or chat app or site, in the profile and photos they post and share. Unlike a catfish, a flying fish, or alternately a f-lying fish, is the person they claim to be but lies about age and shares pics that are very old and undated.
Anna had suspected that Stephen might be much older than he claimed in his dating profile but it wasn't until he shared another pic that she knew he was a flying fish.
