Found Satire

An approach to media interpretation where the viewer takes clearly non-satirical works, often particularly horrible or stupid ones, and reinterprets them as satire instead for entertainment purposes

Tucker Carlson's interview with a man claiming to have had sex with Obama was obviously a disgusting bit of harassment and defamation. However, from a found satire perspective, the whole thing was comedy gold

Mostly used in software development.
To entirely screw up a perfectly well-written piece of software by allowing a certain type of developer to make "changes" to it.

Software Developer 1: Hey, how did project X go last year?
Software Developer 2: Tell me about it... The project manager decided to satind the development team, and after a few months nobody wanted to touch the code-base anymore... They are thinking of rewriting the whole thing now...

Sarcastic Satire

Satire that mocks or makes fun of a societal norm without a context or subject. Girl dinner is an example of sarcastic satire, in which the female collective makes fun of girls unreasonably small portion sizes in order to stay fit. Boy math is also an example in which girls mock negative tendencies of men and how stupid their reasoning is.

Girl 1: I have nothing to eat except cherries and popcorn...
Girl 2: Good enough, we girls have to stay slim!
Girl 1: You make a good point (she said with sarcastic satire) girl dinner!
Girl 2: GIRL DINNER!

semantic satiation

Semantic satiation is a psychological phenomenon where repeating a word or phrase many times causes it to temporarily lose its meaning, making it sound like a meaningless collection of sounds. This occurs because repeated activation of a neural pathway to a word's meaning can cause temporary fatigue or inhibition, leading the brain to re-regulate its focus and temporarily cease to process the word's meaning.

I kept repeating the word 'crowded' over and over for a minute, and by the end, it just sounded like a weird noise—total semantic satiation!

McJagger Satisfaction

A paradoxical state of restless fulfillment; the energetic display of discontent or complaint (”I can’t get no...”) performed precisely because it is lucrative and crowd-pleasing to do so.

The band finished the set with a kind of McJagger satisfaction, howling about how miserable they were while counting the gate receipts with their eyes.
