This is commonly contracted from one to another by playing Hearts of Iron 4 and getting someone to play Hearts of Iron 4.
The symptoms one can get from Para-Pox is the following: Sudden political ideology change, sudden extremism, isolation from others, and having large overreactions over small things.
The stages of Para-Pox follow like this: Stage 1, slight aggression to others and more ranting about politics, hard to see at first. Stage 2, more aggression and starts to have a political ideology switch, more noticeable. Stage 3, large aggression and complete political ideology switch, commonly rants about politics, incredibly noticeable.
They are possible mutations where it stunts at Stage 1 or very early Stage 1 however suddenly bumps up to Stage 3.
The only cure for this is to convince them to play a better game while they are in Stage 1 or early Stage 2, if they are in Stage 3, it is impossible to cure them.
