Prior 2022, the word Bro (noun) was widely believed to be a shortened version of the word brother. If you were to refer to someone as "Bro" before that time period, you were implying that either this said someone is indeed infact your biological sibling, or someone you consider to be like a biological sibling such as a close friend

Post 2022: The word "Bro" is used to denounce opinionated disagreements, and is an oxymoron when used this way. The popularization of this usage is most likely due to influence from the internet; by a previously incarcerated individual.
