Hot Topic

a store that caters to people who wish to dress in clothing that suits their preference. usually people who are into some sort of scene or listen to different types of rock music, usually punk, hardcore, and metal.

hot topic isn't any different from any other store because it still is a store. however, there are a lot more down to earth people at hot topic that i have met than i did at abercrombie & fitch or hollister.

A Store nothing more. A store based on music. Some people who shop there consider themselves "goth" or "punk". Most people call it a "poser store" but your only a poser if you consider youself "goth" or "punk" because you shop there. I personally started shopping there after i saw some cute stuff from there in seventeen magazine and checked out the site. I fell in love with half the stuff there and love it. The stuff there is more my style than some other stores. But i dont consider myself "goth" or "punk" or a "rebel" because I shop there.

Poser- Im going to shop at hot topic Im SOO cool im going to buy a *Ramones T-shirt so every thinks im cool and retro!

Normal person- Wow i like that bag Im going go buy it, not because it makes me think im cool, because i actually like it

A store that sells alternative clothing for punks/goths/emos. Which is funny because no real punk/goths (except the emos) shop at malls. Hot Topic also carries an over-abundance of Tim Burton merchandise, which can get annoying when seen too often.

When you go to Hot Topic, ask yourself; Do you really need a Jack purse with a Sally shirt and a Corpse Bride umbrella? While your at it, Buy a Jack Sparrow Thong!

1)A pretty cool store, that even for the "non-gothics" is pretty fun. A place to get awesome shoelaces, pins, and funny things from Family Guy.
2) A store better than Abercrombie, and all the stores like that.

It's just a regular store that has cool things like band t-shirts. That's why I go there. They have anything from Simple Plan to Iron Maiden to Snoop Dogg. Go there just to buy clothes just like any other store.
