Let’s say the next day A and B get in an argument and things get heated. As a result, A and B both use cuss words. However due to the amount of cusses A uses, B’s cusses will have a greater value compared to A’s cusses. This can be seen all the time on platforms such as YouTube, where family friendly YouTubers are being asked to cuss. This would not happen if one cussed regularly. Cussflation is and has been in society for many years. Additionally, this can actually be used in your favor. By not cussing, you are actively raising the value for when you actually cuss.
However, the main problems with predicting cussflation and the value of your cuss, is that you not know how each person’s personal value of cusses, and you also do not know the price floor and ceiling. These factors are nearly impossible to measure, so sometimes it does not work as effectively as planned.
