I have belonged to gyms in numerous cities and states. One thing is always constant, no matter how many people are in the locker room, EVEN IF IT'S ONLY ONE OTHER PERSON, they have always picked the locker next to yours. So you have to dance around the changing bench and pull your clothes from your locker while looking as the butt of another guy you don't know. I have asked guys at so many different guys and no one has ever coined a phrase for this very common situation. Hence Moon Landing!

Blake was using the next locker to me, and we found ourselves doing a moon landing when we were changing.

Not landing on the same rock

When you're just not on the same wavelength or the same thought pattern as someone else, and it is causing tension between you.
This is usually unintentional, and can be frustrating for both people.

Guy 1: "Dude, you're kinda getting on my nerves today"
Guy 2: "Sorry man, I'm not trying to do anything on purpose"
Guy 1: "It's alright, I think we're just not landing on the same rock"

I mean, half of my rocket exploded trying to land it on Mun, and so my kerbals are now stuck there, but they're still alive, so i call that a successful landing.

The plane is wrecked, but everyone survived, so that was a successful landing.

1/The use of the phrase 'writ large' to pepper meetings and affect intelligence even though the user of the phrase doesn't actually know what it means and therefore doesn't use it correctly.

2/Can also be used (writ large) to describe any type of word or phrase that someone uses specifically to appear more intelligent when the use of the word or phrase is in fact used incorrectly.

Despite her law school education, which would imply she should know what the word actually means, Kim is always writ larging it up in our prison reform policy meetings.
