A Jehovah’sWitness.
Hey Caren, what are you wearing to the Christmas party?
Christmas party???? Come on Linda, you know I don’t celebrate like that. For the last time I am “not a holiday” person!

A personality typing using red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
Red is an angry person who wants power over others. Think of power-tripping bosses, teachers, and bullies. Might be good to have them if you have the same enemies.
Orange is someone who prioritizes excitement and fun instead of being responsible. Probably depressed and distracting themselves from problems instead of solving them.
Yellow is a peaple pleaser who doesn't know how to stand up to people they hate. Identifies as a constant victim. You might feel bad for them at first, but people have to learn independence instead of expecting saviors, right?
Green wants society to be fair and will fight for those they care for. Can be argued as the best type. Might get too preachy about ideals you don't care about.
Blue loves details and understanding how the world works. Not great at socializing or putting their ideas into action. Can be a perfectionist who uses tiny flaws as excuses to procrastinate. Needs to know that chasing perfection gets in the way of taking action.
Purple is focused on starting tasks and seeing them to completion. They love being efficient and pride themselves on gaining great results. Less aggressive than red and more productive than blue. Might be insensitive to people's problems due to unempathetic reasoning. Can be rigid and closed-minded in the way they go about work.

"Hey, what's your Dawn Billings Color Personality?"
"Oh, I'm an Orange. How about you?"
"Purple, I guess that's why I finish prohects first while you stay up all night the day before things are due."

Perspectivist Epistemology recognizes that all knowing is situated: shaped by the knower's location, history, values, and commitments. There's no view from nowhere, no God's-eye truth. But situated doesn't mean trapped—it means located. And locations can be compared, combined, critiqued. Perspectivist Epistemology studies how perspective shapes knowledge, how to translate between perspectives, and how to build knowledge that incorporates multiple standpoints without pretending to transcend them all.
Theory of Perspectivist Epistemology "You claim to know the objective truth. Perspectivist Epistemology says: you know from your perspective, shaped by your history, your values, your location. That's not a weakness; it's the human condition. The question isn't whether you have a perspective—it's whether you know you have one. Perspective isn't bias; it's the condition of knowing."

Perspectivist Science recognizes that all scientific knowing is situated: shaped by the researcher's location, values, training, and commitments. There's no view from nowhere, no value-free science. But situated doesn't mean biased—it means located. And locations can be compared, combined, critiqued. Perspectivist Science studies how perspective shapes research, how to integrate multiple perspectives, and how to build scientific knowledge that acknowledges its own situatedness.
Theory of Perspectivist Science "You think science is objective, value-free. Perspectivist Science says: science is done by people with perspectives—shaped by funding, culture, training. That's not a flaw; it's the reality. The question isn't whether science has perspective—it's whether we know what it is. Perspective isn't bias; it's the condition of doing science."

Get the Theory of Perspectivist Science mug.A framework for understanding the plurality of sciences as arising from different perspectives—each science offering a particular view of reality, none capturing everything. Perspectivist Sciences recognizes that physics sees the world as matter in motion; biology sees it as living systems; psychology sees it as minded experience. Each perspective is valid, each partial, each revealing something the others miss. Perspectivist Sciences studies how these perspectives relate, how they complement and sometimes conflict, and how multiple perspectives together give richer understanding than any single one.
Theory of Perspectivist Sciences "You want one science to explain everything. Perspectivist Sciences says: impossible. Physics explains matter; biology explains life; psychology explains mind. Each perspective reveals something the others miss. Truth isn't in any single perspective; it's in the conversation between them. Perspectivism isn't relativism—it's recognizing that reality is too rich for one view."
