The most addicting and life-ruining game out there. I started playing in 06 or 07 and at first I thought it was stupid. A few months later I saw myself sitting hours on end in front of a screen getting a skill cape. I was able to drop the addiction for a few years, but I always would come back. Runescape takes over and it is all you think about. You don't think about school grades, work, family, nothing. You just care about the game and how to get your next cape. I wish I would have never found out about this game.

I wish that nerd never showed me this game so I woudn't waste my life. at the start, in 2006, i had very low levels and then I started to get addicted. Jagex had andrew gover and he was good, but this game was to addicted. Jagex started to change. the gover company sold the game to greedy english people and they made all mod accounts like mod mark, mod mmg. people start to quit when mmg came as CAO. they told that u would get moderator if u played a lot. I did not know how bad Mod MMG could lie and I kept wasting my life. Runescape 2 came, I had good levels. Then runescape 3 came with the evolution of combat. many protests again, many quits.Mod MMG has closed his clan. Jagex are masterminds and make stupid updates like salomon store and a squeel of fortune to get you addicted so you have to pay to play their game, and they laugh in your face when you buy from their store.They dont pick moderators at all, you can report what you want. Mod Mark Made his own rules and bans you for saying Mcdonalds.And why should you get all those 99s to do a stupid emote?in this game a 99 is worthless now because Jagex ruined the game with their own rules: they do real world trading ! When I saw this, I did a lot Mod Mark jokes then I dropped all my items and my accounts got banned. Jagex is a greedy english company and I hope you never will play this game because this is too addicting

Get the Runescape Simp mug.Runescape is a free online multiplayer game, or MMORPG. At first, the graphics weren't impressive, but it was original and had a fair amount of players. Then, they came out with a newer RuneScape. It had better graphics, but still not that good compared to other games, but what it did have was a lot of "dedicated" players. For a while, people compared RuneScape to World of Warcraft, saying RuneScape was just a knockoff. Then, JaGeX released a graphic update and system update, with more content. The "fan base" was larger than ever. The graphics and adjustments took a while to get used to, there were lots of complaints about how everything had abruptly changed, but after about 3 months they stopped. Now, RuneScape is a well-known MMORPG with impressive graphics (for a MMORPG); currently the most popular. They even got into the Guinness Book of World Records.
In my opinion, RuneScape is easy to get attatched to. You should only play if you can easily quit things with no problem. I honestly still get on it mildly and I've been playing RuneScape for about 2 years in total. There's just something very unique about RuneScape.
It is filled with young kids who lie about their age, though. And most people get a little too serious with gameplay, or they just roleplay - which is queer in my perspective, but whatever.
