1. The action or process of walmartifying something.
2. The process of turning something into Walmart

3. In reference to the Walmart Effect where the presence or introduction of a large business like Walmart has a notable economic impact (especially in a negative sense) on the businesses in its area.
4. The result of Walmart's hegemonic efforts especially when Walmart undercuts local businesses; most notably, when Walmart is able to take on a loss until the local businesses go out of business.

The hipster was annoyed by the Walmartification of his formerly totally hip town; chockful of niche grocery stores. Now with the town's niche grocery stores supplanted by Walmart; making his town have a full-on bland grocery situation.
