An awesome place to live. Unfortunately loaded with tourists but I guess that just means that Rhinebeck is a lot nicer place to stay than Red Hook. Rhinebeck is classy and not filled w/ a bunch of scumbags like Red Hook. Yeah, we might be rich and preppy, but it's not like we're denying that. If anything that's a good thing. So RH needs to stop bashing us cause they're jealous and wish they were like us. And who cares if you have a better sports team, NOT US! Everytime you bash us you fail to mention how much more talented we are then RH in music and arts. Something that would get us farther in life than sports. Considering the majority of you that play sports are just going to end up being FAT-couch-potatoes WATCHING sports instead of playing them in the future. So you tell me who's school is better? Get the Rhinebeck mug.Rhinebeck, a small upstate town in New York, where lots of pompous preppy fucks live. Their town consists of a few way to expensive, very bad resturants,and yuppie stores. On the weekends the town is infested with the annoying city folk who want to go to the "country" homes. They drive their Land Rovers and Hummers around town thinking that 199 and Rt. 9 are country roads, normal cars cannot drive on. If you are a student of Rhinebeck highschool you are used to a few things.
1. Loosing in everysport to Red Hook
2. Being the firsts and last to pop their collars in Dutchess County
3. Owning a brand new car by the age of 16
4. Concidering yourselves much better than anyone in Red Hook, where we have more students, a better school system, better sports, a better facility for sports and education, and a far nicer population.
In summation Rhinebeck is "overpriced, undereducated, overrated, underachieving, preppy, a dumping place for the NYC gay and rich couples, and totally unnecessary"

Get the Runescape mug.Runes were used as a magic system by ancient Germanic peoples. They were primarily divinatory but could also be used in active magic. For example: one could could create a simple bindrune of “*Fehu” (ᚠ) and “*Wunjo” (ᚹ) for Wealth and Joy, respectively. Also, runes could be used as a writing system. In England, Anglo-Saxon runes were used until Cnut the Great established the Old English version of the Latin Alphabet. They were used until the 19th Century in Iceland, mainly when carving. The Elder Futhark was the first set of runes to be used and had 24 runes. It evolved into the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc and Younger Futhark, the former in England and the latter in Scandinavia and Iceland. Younger Futhark evolved into Medieval Runes, which developed into Dalecarlian Runes. Some Heathens or Pagans, myself included, still use them for magical purposes. Usually Elder Futhark is used for this due to being Pre-Christian but any of them work.
