snide-effects

Unwanted/unforeseen "secondary" reactions to derogatory remarks.
One of da most common snide-effects is when da intended victim of one's verbal bile complains to an authority figure about da criticizer's harsh words, and then said arrogant speaker gets in a load of Dutch for running his mouth.

Ferrari effect

Brand loyalty, regardless of quality differences. Buying a potentially inferior product for reasons other than suitability for a particular purpose, such as for personal image or self-esteem.

May not necessarily apply to Ferrari, since they are often sold as status symbols as well as higher performing vehicles.
"Near the end of those four years, once people don't think Radeon is worse than nVidia, that's when the Ferrari effect would matter. But it doesn't matter if people think badly of your brand." - Moore's Law Is Dead

curtain-call effect

Alt forms: curtaincall effect

The trend seen in character designs where non-human but still humanoid characters, especially aliens and anthropomorphic animals, do not wear clothing or do not wear clothing that would be seen as sufficient by humans. Examples are Ficus Licker from Undertale, Daniel Tiger from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, and Timmy and Tommy from Animal Crossing. Pretty much always correlates with the Heats Flamesman exception (non-humans not having private parts).
It's the curtain-call effect, so yeah it's probably allowed here.
