Splash the Zeros

Put them in the drink..., Shoot them out of the sky..., Give them a Mitsubishi Migraine that they'll soon forget. These are all terms heard during the South Pacific Theater in WWII. In this case, each one called for the downing of Japanese Zero Fighter Planes. "Splash the Zeros" was the phrase used in the movie, "The Final Countdown."

This "Splash" phrase and "These pretzels are making me thirsty" are opposite in meaning, but same of outcome for the intended purpose. Zero Two

Zero Two is the final boss of Kirby 64, also known as Kirby and The Crystal Shards. Zero Two can only be encountered once the player as gathered all of the crystal shards and have defeated Miracle Matter. Zero Two's design is best compared to the species of angel known as a Throne, or Ophanim, in the Christian Religion. This comparison is best made through the central eye, his wings, and the revolving rings in the background of the fight.

Person 1: I finally beat Zero Two this weekend!

Zero Quarter

Traditional marching band battle held prior to kickoff of HBCU (Historically Black College and University) football rivalry games, especially in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). Fans arrive early to witness bands trade songs up to 1 1/2 hours before the game begins. The first known zero quarter featured the Jackson State University "Sonic Boom of the South" vs. the Southern University "Human Jukebox" at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in 1997.

Jackson State and Southern went at it in the zero quarter!
