Red Spading is a form of McCarthy-ism; when commonplace notions are challenged or brought to the point of being invalid or wrong the argument turns to a comparison of patriotism.

Never saiding is when someone you know says that they will do something or they will give you something if you do something. When the time comes though they simply say “I never said that”

I’ll take you to Hawaii if you manage to get straight A’s in school (end of year comes) I never said that. Example of never saiding
