weathergheddon

Weathergheddon is what happens in Atlanta when there is any sort of winter weather. It is characterized by media-induced hysteria (akin to something like "PandaWatch") and involves, in no particular order: car accidents, high call-out rates at work, and buying all of the bread and milk from the grocery store.

"As I look through my window, the rain has *just* turned to sleet. Despite the fact that it was 65 degrees and I was in a tee-shirt and flip-flops yesterday, we're due for 3-5 inches of snow today.

Weathergheddon '09 has begun."
