Valentine's Day

Stupid holiday that allows females to set high expectations for men to do something "romantic" with the consequence of not doing something getting yelled at for a year or possibly a break up. Also a day of happiness for single males, who don't have to purchase anyone anything and a day of depression for single females because they set impossible standards that nobody will be able to reach and don't understand why they are single

Single female: I'm so depressed cause it's Valentine's Day and I've never had a Valentine. Female in relationship: My boyfriend/husband better do something amazing for Valentine's Day. Single male: I don't have to buy anybody a present today! Male in relationship: Better do something romantic or I'll never hear the end of it
