Government Shot

A type of small alcoholic beverage, taken as a shot with a 'back' to chase it, named for a conspiracy theory which posits that the U.S. government invented it as part of a health trend to get people to buy more vodka and pay more excise tax on liquors. The shot is usually taken as follows: 1-2 ounces of Vodka (usually Tito's gluten free) taken as a shooter, followed by a chaser mixing olive oil, turmeric, and Bragg's liquid amino. The sourness of the amino sometimes causes people to gag after the vodka, but if one can keep it down, the olive oil is supposed to help coat the stomach against the acidity and soak up some of the alcohol, preventing hangovers.

I went to Erewhon this morning with Tabither, and afterwards we went out on the Strip and took Government Shots all night- I mean, I've got a shoot tomorrow. I've gotta be fresh in the mornings, but I've gotta party, too. The Government is underrated.

A phrase used to initially infer the inclusion of everyone in the actions of the state before slowly admitting "oh, we didn't mean you" and then it is used to justify the actions of the state. Current examples include China (Central People's Government), a soviet backed occupation of Lithuania (People's Government of Lithuania) , soviet backed client state in northern Iran (Azerbaijan People's Government ) and the United Kingdom (People's Government)

Government Taxi

Government taxis come in many forms, but most often they have some local common characteristics.
The larger variants include a separate traveling section for the customers.

Differing from other taxis the government pays for your trip. The pick up is available everywhere, but unfortunately they only stop in one place, a government provided accommodation service. The government taxi usually does not require a specific call, just break a showcase and wait.

On the trip you are usually accompanied by two people dressed in blue, to provide safety. They also usually assist you and walk you to your accommodation, even preparing the required paperwork.
